To turn off the service reminder light on your 2018 Audi Q5, simply follow these steps that will only require a few minutes of your time. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the on position without starting the engine. Next, slowly press the gas pedal all the way down three times in succession. After the third time, start the engine. You may notice a light flash on your dashboard when the engine starts, but your service reminder light should be reset after that.
To clear the inspection reminder on your 2018 Audi Q5, simply follow these steps: Turn the ignition key to the "on" position, press the gas pedal down slowly three times, then start your vehicle. The indicator light should show that the inspection reminder has been reset.
The 2018 Q5 has a keyless system, so there is no actual key to turn.
You need to utilize a scan tool to clear the inspection light since the maker incorporates a diagnostic scan in the inspection process.
This solution isn't effective for my 2018 Q5. Possibly because I lack an "ignition key" or a spot to insert it. I attempted to just push the start button without putting my foot on the brake pedal to activate the ignition, and then pressing the gas pedal as directed, but it didn't work.
Sorry, didn't work out.
It doesn't function after several attempts. Don't focus too much on the physical key blade. Just press the button once without touching the brake pedal to turn on the ignition.
The "Inspection" alert is often confused with the "Maintenance" alert by many websites and individuals. The only way to clear the "Inspection" alert is by using a scan tool, just as Charles Sims mentioned.
This is not effective.
It didn't work and there was no key, but trying to start it again didn't reset the situation.
This is not effective. Is there a different method to restart it?
