The lamp out indicator on a 2004 Dodge Ram alerts you that a external light bulb on the truck has burnt out. To reset it, you must replace the bulb and it will automatically turn off. When the lamp out light is illuminated, I suggest activating your headlights and emergency flashers and inspecting the truck to identify the faulty bulb. Once you locate the burnt-out bulb, check the fuse connected to it first. If the fuse is functioning properly, remove the bulb from its socket and install a new one.

The passenger side low beam light is not functioning, even though all other lights are working fine. I replaced the bulb, but the issue persists. After installing a new alternator, all lights started working again for about 20 miles before failing once more. I need advice on how to solve this problem.
