To clear the maintenance light on your Honda CR-V, first, turn the car key to the "on" position and then back off. Press and hold the odometer trip reset button while turning the key back to "on." The light should turn off after doing this.

Nowhere is there any mention of resetting the CRV diesels from 2014 or 2015, whether they have the 1.6 or 2.2-liter engines. It's frustrating to have to buy a special tool just to perform this task. I'm tired of dealing with these modern cars; I'm considering switching to electric vehicles or reverting back to models from before 2000.
