To reset the change oil light on a 2018 Nissan Rogue, access the options menu on the dashboard and select the oil option to reset it. However, if the oil has not been changed, the light will come back on. When changing the oil, ensure the car has been turned off for a couple of hours to allow the oil to cool down. Locate the oil pan and drain plug in the engine compartment. Place a bucket under the plug and remove it to let the oil drain into the pan, waiting for it to stop dripping, which could take about an hour. Once it's done, reattach the drain plug and fill the oil pan using a funnel, being careful not to overfill. Don't worry if it's a little under full. Close the port, clean up any spilled oil, and you're all set.
