To reset the oil life on your Mercedes-Benz E350 as an American, start by ensuring you are safely parked. Turn the ignition to the first position without actually starting the car to display the odometer. Use the down button on the left side to cycle through until the odometer is shown. Now, press and hold the phone button, then quickly press and hold the ok button for 5 seconds. Choose "ASSYST PLUS," hit ok, select full service, press ok, then "CONF. FULL SERV." and press ok. Next, pick the oil grade, press ok, select yes, press ok, confirm, press ok, and you're all set.

Quickly press the cluster illumination button three times; this will show the battery voltage and you will hear a sound. Then use the up or down arrows to navigate to the service menu. Choose "confirm" using the +/- buttons. Finally, select "complete service" by hitting the system selection button and confirm it.
