There are four different methods for resetting the oil life on a 2019 Kia Forte, all of which are relatively simple. The first option is to use an OBD-II scan tool with oil life reset capability. If you have one, you can easily send the oil life reset command. Another way is to turn the ignition to the ON position, scroll to SERVICE REMINDER using the menu button, and then press and hold OK until the mileage resets. A third method involves turning the ignition to ON, scrolling to MILEAGE using the same button, inputting the desired interval, and resetting the counter. The last option is to reset to factory defaults, which will also erase other saved data like the trip counter. To do this, scroll to RESET using the menu button, select it with OK, confirm by pressing YES and then OK when you see "Reset to factory default" displayed.
