To reset the oil life indicator on a 2013 Subaru Impreza, first park the car and ensure all doors are closed. Insert the key and turn it to the RUN position without starting the engine, allowing the lights and radio to come on. Press and hold the INFO button on the left side of the steering wheel controls until the display shows SETTING. Navigate to MAINTENANCE, then select SET. Locate ENGINE OIL and choose it, then press SET. Scroll to UPDATE and press SET again. The oil life will be reset to 100%. Turn off the ignition and start the car to confirm the reset and ensure the light is off. If you want to set a mileage reminder, you can do so before pressing SET for the final time.
