To clear the oil light on a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, you should first turn the key to the on position without starting the engine. Access the menu on the center console, navigate to options, then select the oil option and choose reset. Allow about five minutes for the light to reset. This light typically appears after an oil change. Consider resetting it after each oil change to avoid future inconvenience.
Step on the gas pedal three times while the vehicle is in the on position but make sure it is in park.
Not set back to original position.
Thank you, Julio. That's exactly what I was looking for. None of those other "suggestions" were helpful. Thanks once more.
To reset the oil on a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, ensure the vehicle is turned on but the engine is not running. Locate and press the reset button on the dashboard console, holding it until the light blinks and then stops. Turn off the vehicle and wait for 5 minutes. The oil reset process is complete.
I was struggling to reset mine, but after putting it in the Run position and heading to the oil change, I pressed the brake, pumped the gas three times, and finally reset the oil by holding down the okay button – that did the trick.
