To clear the oil maintenance reminder on a 2007 Honda Fit, first, turn the key to the run position (right before starting). Keep pressing the SELECT/RESET button until you see the oil life indicator. Hold down the SELECT/RESET button for over 10 seconds until the oil life and maintenance codes flash. Next, hold the SELECT/RESET button for more than 5 seconds to get rid of the maintenance codes, resetting the oil life to 100%. Switch the key to off and then start the engine to confirm the reset.
