To start resetting the oil life on your 2016 Kia Forte, first sit on the driver's side of the vehicle. Insert the key and turn it to the on position without starting the engine. If your car has a keyless start system, press the power button twice. Next, press the gas pedal three times quickly with a brief pause between each press. After doing this three times, a light will flash, indicating that the reset is complete. Turn off the power to your vehicle, then start it up again to verify that the oil life counter has been reset.
