If you have your 2010 Nissan Sentra's oil changed at a dealership or mechanic, they typically reset the oil light for you. However, if they forget or if you are taking care of the oil changes yourself, you can easily reset the light. Start the vehicle without turning on the engine and access the settings menu by pressing the square button. Navigate to the maintenance section, scroll to oil and filter, then choose reset. A confirmation message will appear on the display, select yes to confirm that you want to reset the oil life indicator.
