To reset the oil life on a 2019 Subaru Forester, begin by ensuring the ignition is turned on. Locate the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. On the upper part of the steering wheel, find the info button. Press the info button repeatedly until you see a selection displayed on the screen. If you are already on the selection screen, press and hold the info button for a few seconds. Look for the up and down arrows on the bottom left of the steering wheel. Use these arrows to navigate to the maintenance menu. Choose "engine oil" to reset the oil life, then select SET to confirm your choice. Finally, turn the ignition off and then back on.
