To create a unique serial number for the Ford Escape, begin by locking all doors and inserting the key into the ignition, turning it to the "on" position without starting the engine. Then, switch on the radio and press and hold the #1 and #6 buttons until the serial number is displayed. To reset stored settings in Your SYNC system, go to the home screen, tap on "gears," then choose "settings." Next, select "system" to access the menu. Scroll down using the arrow keys to find the "Master Reset" option, and confirm by selecting "yes" on the touch screen. This should clear SYNC and radio settings on the Escape. Finally, remove the vehicle from the paired device's Bluetooth settings to complete the process.
