To reset the radio in a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, start by taking out the Audio system fuse. Wait a couple of minutes before putting the fuse back in - typically, this will resolve the problem, assuming the radio itself is fine. You can find the fuses in the fuse box underneath the buttons for the trunk and fuel door release on the passenger side of the vehicle. Remove the cover panel and locate the square yellow fuse at the lower left. Check to see if the fuse is intact while it's out. Wait around two minutes to ensure any residual electricity is discharged before reinserting the fuse. If the radio issue persists, there may be a more serious problem, potentially costing upwards of $500 to get the radio replaced.
