Every now and then, you may need to reset the radio in your Honda CR-V. Fortunately, there are two ways to accomplish this in most model years. For newer models, simply hold down the POWER button for at least 5 seconds. However, be aware that this action will delete all your settings, presets, and history, so proceed only if you're willing to lose that data. If you have an older model or the POWER button method doesn't work, you can also reset by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 5 to 10 minutes. Don't forget to press and hold the POWER button to discharge any remaining power. Upon reconnecting, your radio should be back to its default settings.

Hey there! I'm looking to perform a factory reset on the radio system in my 2019 CRV LX, but every time I press and hold the power button, the radio simply turns on instead. It's really frustrating. Additionally, there's this other issue that's been driving me crazy - whenever the Bluetooth in my car connects, the equalizer setting on my iPhone 7 keeps turning off, and then it's back on when I leave the car. For instance, if I select "Rock" on the EQ, it changes to "Off" in the car, and then reverts to "Rock" once I'm out of the car. Both Honda and Apple have been unable to provide a solution for this problem.
