This will continue for approximately 10 minutes, so you can step away from the vehicle and let it remain in the on position. After the 10 minutes pass, the security light will stop flashing, briefly stay solid, and then turn off. Once the light goes off, switch the key back to the off position. Now, attempt to start the vehicle; if the security light has turned off, it should start without any issues.
