To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2016 Toyota Sienna, first, ensure you are parked in a safe location and check that the tire pressure is correct. The front and rear P235/50R19 tires should be set to 36 psi, while the front and rear P235/55R18 and P235/60R17 tires should be at 35 psi. Then, turn the engine to the on position without starting the car. Locate the TPMS reset button under and to the left of the steering wheel on the instrument panel. Press and hold this button until the TPMS light blinks slowly three times. Wait a few minutes, turn off the vehicle, and then restart it.

The reset button on a 2016 Sienna is not functioning as expected. When the TPMS light flashes for a minute after turning the vehicle to the 'ON' position (achieved by pressing the start button twice without starting the vehicle), pressing the 'SET' button under the steering wheel for 5 seconds does not reset the light as it should, and the light does not flash three times. Despite attempting to hold the reset button for 10 seconds, there was still no change. I have done my research and watched several tutorials on the correct way to reset the TPMS light, so I am confident that I am not making any mistakes. Please provide guidance on how to successfully reset the TPMS light.

To recalibrate the TPMS on your 2016 Toyota Sienna, start by checking that the tire pressure is right. After that, switch on the engine. Press and maintain the reset button, and continue holding it until the TPMS light flashes slowly three times.
