To start, ensure the 2018 Mazda6 is parked on a flat surface. Check the tire pressure of each tire to ensure that they are at the correct psi, as indicated on the side of the tire. Next, enter the car and power it up without starting the engine. Look for a button to the right of the steering wheel labeled tpms or similar. Press and hold this button until it starts blinking. Let the car rest for about 20 minutes so that it can recalibrate. Once the blinking stops, turn off the car and then restart it to confirm that the reset was successful.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system on the 2018 Mazda 6, first confirm that the tire pressure is accurate, then start the car. Press the reset button located on the right side of the steering wheel and wait for ten minutes. If needed, hold the button until the light flashes. If the sensor malfunctions, it may be due to incorrect tire pressure, which can impact the car's performance negatively.
