To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan, start by parking the vehicle on a flat surface. Use a pressure gauge to ensure that the tires are inflated to 38 PSI. Check the exact tire pressures and sizes by examining the manufacturer's sticker on the driver's doorframe. Next, locate the rightmost menu button on the steering wheel and navigate through the settings on the instrument panel until you find "tire pressure". When you see "snow tires", skip that option and continue to "tire pressure". Select "store", then "confirm". The TPMS light will flash briefly and then turn off, indicating that the wheel pressure on your Tiguan has been successfully reset.
