Resetting the tire pressure sensor on your 2008 Chevy Silverado may seem a bit tricky, but it should only require about 10 to 12 minutes of your time. To begin, locate the tire you want to start with, which is the front driver's side tire. Position your relearn tool against the sidewall nearest to the valve stem (where you check and add air pressure). Next, press the button to initiate the tire pressure monitoring system sensor. Repeat these actions for each tire, moving from the front passenger side to the rear right side, and finally to the rear left side.
To recalibrate the tire pressure sensor on a 2008 Silverado, hold down the unlock and lock buttons on the remote key fob until you hear the horn honk, then the left front turn signal will light up.
Can this technique be used with aftermarket sensors created by Aurelio?
I only have a basic 2008 Chevy truck without power windows, remote features, power locks, or cruise control.
I'll take care of it.
