The TPMS on your 2012 Dodge Charger is there to alert you when one or more tires are not properly inflated. This can lead to tire wear, tire damage, and unsafe driving conditions. Resetting the TPMS is quick and easy - simply turn the ignition to the "ON" position (without starting the car) and locate the "TPMS Reset" button on the right side of the steering wheel. Press and hold the button until the tire pressure light blinks three times, then release it. Start the car and wait at least 10 minutes for the sensors to update. Once completed, the TPMS will be reset successfully.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2012 Dodge Charger, first ensure that the tire pressures are accurate. Start up the car and press the reset button located on the right side of the steering wheel. Wait for ten minutes for the reset to take effect. If necessary, hold down the button until the light blinks. If the sensor malfunctions, it could be due to improper tire pressures, which can lead to poor vehicle performance.

I'm having trouble locating the switch to the right of my steering wheel in my 2012 Charger. There doesn't seem to be anything in that spot to press, and I don't believe there's even a button there. Is there another method I can attempt? Also, will the sensor trigger if the tires are overinflated?
