To recalibrate the tire pressure sensor in a 2015 Chevy Equinox, follow these steps. If you have an air compressor, you can do this at home in about 5 minutes or visit a gas station. Locate the tire pressure system on the screen if you have push-button start, and choose "Set/Clr to Relearn" to start. Confirm that you want to proceed by selecting "Yes." The system will honk twice to signal it is in relearn mode. Adjust the air pressure in the front driver's tire until you hear one honk to indicate that the sensor has been reset. Repeat this process for the other tires in the order of passenger front, passenger rear, and driver's rear. For vehicles without push-button start, insert the key and turn it to the on position. Hold down the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously until you hear two honks, indicating the start of the relearn process.

I gave it a shot and did the air pressure test, but had to stop after about 12 seconds because the horn wouldn't sound. Is there a specific time frame for the horn to honk?
