When the TPMS light illuminates in your Jaguar XF, park the car and inflate the tires to the specified pressure noted on the placard. Ensure the pressure reading is taken when the tires are cold, so allow the vehicle time to cool down after driving before filling them. Afterward, drive the car at a speed of over 30 mph for at least 10 minutes to enable the sensors in each tire to sync with the system, which should then turn off the light. If the light persists, you may require a TPMS scan tool to resolve the issue. This tool will assess the readings of each tire sensor and transmit them to the system. This service can be performed at a dealership or an auto repair shop.

I drive a 2010 Jaguar XFR and recently installed a new TPMS sensor from Discount Tire. However, the fault symbol is still showing and the dealership mentioned that the only way to fix it is by purchasing sensors from them at $195 each. What should I do next?
