Before proceeding, ensure that the 2017 Chevy Traverse is parked on a completely level surface. Confirm the tire pressure in each tire meets the specified psi by checking the information printed on the side of the tire. Inside the vehicle, without starting the engine, power it on. Locate the button to the right of the steering wheel labeled as tpms or similar, press and hold it until it starts blinking. Allow the vehicle to rest for approximately 20 minutes to complete the recalibration process. Once the blinking stops, turn off the car and then back on to verify that the reset was successful.

To reinitialize the tire pressure monitor (TPMS) system on your 2017 Chevy Traverse, first, put the ignition key in the "on" position and press the TPMS button, which is typically found under the dashboard, until the TPMS light flashes multiple times. After that, start your vehicle and allow it to run for a minimum of 20 minutes for the TPMS system to reset successfully.
