To reset the tire pressure monitoring system on a 2007 Kia Sorento, start by parking in a safe area and ensuring that your tires are inflated to the recommended pressure. The recommended tire pressure for the vehicle is 30 psi for both the front and rear tires, for the P245/65R17 and P245/70R16 tire sizes. One method to reset the system is by holding down the pressure warning reset switch until the light flashes three times. If this doesn't work, you will need to use a scan tool to reset it. Begin by initializing the sensors in the following sequence: left front, right front, right rear, and then left rear. Next, turn the ignition to the on position without starting the vehicle, connect the tool to the OBDII port, and upload the sensor IDs. Turn off the ignition, rescan each sensor, and then drive the vehicle above 30 mph for at least 10 minutes to complete the reset process.

Is everyone really saying "press the reset button on the lower part of the steering wheel," but why isn't there a picture or any clear indication of where it is? It should be easy to find and clearly labeled. Perhaps no one has actually seen a 2007 Sorento before?

Oh man, that's really complex, I think I'll just tune out those darn sensors!

Instead of taking out the battery and completely draining the power, you can simply use an OBDII scanner to reset it similar to clearing a regular error code.
