To reset the TPMS on a 2010 Honda Insight, first, go to the Home screen on the display and then to Settings. Next, choose your vehicle and then select TPMS Calibration. When prompted, choose Calibrate. Once you have done this, you should be all set. To confirm that you have done it correctly, turn your ignition off and back on. If everything is working properly, great! If not, repeat the steps described.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitor (TPMS) system in your 2010 Honda Insight, first turn the ignition key to the "on" position and press the TPMS button, typically found beneath the dashboard, until the TPMS indicator blinks multiple times. Next, start your car and allow it to idle for at least 20 minutes to complete the TPMS reset process.

If you want to turn off the light after having a low tire, simply inflate it and drive around 1/10 mile to trigger an automatic reset. If you need to program new TPMS sensor codes - say, for new rims with winter tires - you'll require a specialized tool. I personally purchased an affordable ATEQ QuickSet, which has been effective in loading the codes onto my car. The 2010 and 2011 Honda Insight models only hold one set of tire codes, so you'll have to update them each season for proper functionality.
