For the 2014 Kia Forte, follow these steps to reset the TPMS: Start by setting the tire pressure to the recommended level of 32 psi for both front and rear tires when cold, as stated in the owner's manual. If you've replaced a sensor, use an OBD scan tool to scan each tire's sensors starting from the left front, then move to the right front, rear right, and left rear. Don't forget to scan the full-size spare if you have one. With the ignition in the ON position, connect the scan tool to the OBD-II port located under the driver's side dash. After uploading the sensor IDs, turn the ignition off and rescan them. Drive for a minimum of 10 minutes at 30 mph to ensure the tire pressure is correct in each tire. Engage the parking brake, switch the ignition back to ON, and press and hold the pressure warning reset switch until you see the TPMS indicator blink three times.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2014 Kia Forte, first ensure that the tire pressure is accurate. Start the car, and press the reset button located to the right of the steering wheel. Wait for ten minutes. In some situations, you might have to press and hold the button until the light blinks. Improper tire pressure could cause issues with the sensor and lead to subpar vehicle performance.
