To begin resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in a 2016 Porsche Cayenne, start by noting the air pressure required for your tires. This information can be found on the placard located inside the door. Turn the ignition key to the ON position without starting the engine. Navigate to the TPCC/TPM option in the Main Menu on the driver display. Choose Pressure and then go to Settings. From there, select the appropriate tire size and type. Ensure that the air pressure is correct in all four tires. To activate the sensor in each tire, release approximately 5 psi of air and then refill to the correct level. Upon completion, drive the vehicle for a minimum of 30 minutes at a speed of at least 30 miles per hour. This will allow the system to receive updated data from all sensors and reset the warning light.
