The TPMS on your 2017 Kia Optima is designed to alert you if any of your tires are under-inflated. This can lead to premature tire wear, tire failure, and dangerous driving situations. Resetting the TPMS is a quick process. Just follow these steps: Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the car. Locate the "TPMS Reset" button under the steering wheel and press it until you see the tire pressure light blink three times, then let go. Start the vehicle and give the sensors at least 20 minutes to update. Once completed, the TPMS is reset, and you can turn off your ignition.
There isn't a reset button under the steering wheel of a 2017 Kia Optima.

I agree with you. The 2017 Kia Optima hybrid I own does not have a TPMS button located below the steering wheel.
