On 11/27/2022, a warning appeared on my 2016 Nissan Rogue. You don't always have to go to the dealer for this issue. Do some research and reading instead. The dealership may give you advice over the phone, but they might not tell you everything. In any case, try removing the 10 amp fuse labeled as electrical something and swap it with another labeled as spare. This simple fix got rid of the annoying warning message. Most warnings occur due to a short circuit when you haven't secured the negative pole – for example, while adding an amplifier or making changes to the audio system. Last night, my wife had an experience in a parking lot where she turned the car on but didn't start it in order to roll down the window for a quick phone call. Even though she turned down the radio all the way, it was still on simply because the car was on. After a couple of minutes, when she tried to start the car, a "Chassis system error" message appeared on the dashboard, and the car wouldn't start. She called me, locked the doors manually, and waited for my arrival. After about 15 minutes, while sitting in the locked car, the map light started blinking and the doors unlocked themselves. Despite trying again, the car still wouldn't start. I eventually arrived, jumped the car battery with my truck, and after a couple of attempts, the car started up. We drove home without any issues, and when she turned off the car in the driveway, she attempted to start it again, which worked perfectly with no errors. To be safe, I replaced the battery to avoid any future potential incidents of being stranded in a parking lot.

Why isn't there a recall for this issue if it's indeed an error? I recently had my vehicle checked during a recall for the harness, and no issues were found. However, 10 days later, the light came on again. This has happened three times now, and when I took it to another mechanic, they couldn't find any problem but managed to reset the warning by performing a reboot.
