If the blend door in your 2011 Ford F-150 isn't functioning properly, the issue is likely due to a damaged actuator. To address this, you'll typically have to access the blend door, remove the actuator, and install a new one for a complete repair. Alternatively, you can attempt to reset the actuator to possibly resolve the sticking issue. Start by taking out the actuator fuse from the driver's footwell fuse panel, then run the AC system in the car for a few minutes. Turn off the car, reinsert the fuse, and test the blend door. If it is still not working, you may have to replace either the actuator or the entire blend door assembly.

I recently used this thread to fix my heater blend door. Disabling fuse #46 in the passenger footwell shut down the whole AC/heating system. I started my car, let it run for a few minutes, turned it off, and then reinstalled the fuse. I could hear the blend door opening smoothly. Now my heat is back on track. Appreciate the helpful post!
