To reset the anti-theft system on your Toyota Matrix, you have two options: using the wireless remote or the car's ignition key. Here's how you can do it: Hold down the panic button on your remote to stop the panic alarm. Look for the button on your key fob that has a horn symbol with three lines. Press any button on the remote to silence the horn. Quickly tap the unlock button on the remote twice, or manually unlock the door with the key. Turn the ignition on to disable the alarm. Proceed with driving as usual. When you're finished, turn off the ignition and press the lock button on the remote twice when you exit the vehicle. Now, your Toyota's anti-theft system should be reset.

To secure all the car doors, press the lock button on the matrix remote twice or insert the key into the driver's side door and twist it in the other direction to lock the vehicle. The headlights will flash once to confirm the doors are locked and the alarm system is reset.
