The Fort Taurus is equipped with a universal garage door opener that is easy to program for opening garage doors and electronic gates. To program it, you will need the original opener that came with your garage or gate. First, turn the vehicle on. Then, hold the remote you want to use for programming about 1 to 3 inches away from the button you want to program. Press and hold both the remote and the button you want to program until the universal garage door light blinks slowly. Once it blinks slowly, press and hold the button for five seconds to test if it is functioning properly.
