To begin the process of jumpstarting a Toyota Corolla, first, find the batteries in both cars. Connect the positive (red) cable to the positive terminal on both batteries. Next, attach the black cable to the negative terminal of the working car's battery, and then to an unpainted metal surface on the dead car. Be careful not to mix up the positive and negative cables. Start the working car and let it run for around 3-5 minutes while it is connected to the non-working car. Try starting the dead car. If it doesn't start, double-check the cable connections, wait a bit, and try again. If it still doesn't start after a few attempts, it's time to call a mechanic. Once the non-working car starts, let it run for a few minutes, then disconnect the cables in reverse order.
