To take off the front bumper of the Chevy Silverado, start by raising and propping open the hood to reach the plastic bumper cover. Remove the plastic discs covering the plugs holding the cover to the front of the engine bay using a flathead screwdriver. Lift off the cover. Then, use a 10mm ratchet to unscrew the 4 top fasteners securing the bumper from inside the engine bay. Next, go to the side of the truck by the wheel and use a 7mm socket to unscrew. Do the same for the other side of the truck, and then carefully pry off the panel sections, ensuring you release any interior clips. Take out the front bolts below the grill using a 10mm socket with an extension and remove the grill. Finally, disconnect the remaining lower panel using a 15mm socket from under the vehicle.
