How can I take off the headrest from a Chevy Silverado?

To remove the headrest on a Chevrolet Silverado, start by extending it fully upward after pressing the button. This will reveal the plastic covers hiding the mechanism you need to access, which you can unscrew counterclockwise. Next, inside the fabric, you'll notice a metal clip on each side holding the headrest rails in place. Using a small flathead screwdriver, carefully disengage these clips while gently pushing up on the headrest rails. Once both clips are released, the headrest should come off easily.

Insert a hex-head key into the hole located at the bottom of the headrest. While using one hand to push the key towards the rear seat, simultaneously lift up on the headrest with your other hand until it pops out of the seat. Perform the same steps on the other side of the headrest.
