Removing the steering wheel from a 2010 Ford Focus is a relatively straightforward process. Whether you need to fix, swap, customize, or just keep a memento from your old Ford (just kidding), it shouldn't take much time. Start by disconnecting the battery to prevent the airbag from deploying and causing harm. Wait at least five to ten minutes to ensure the battery is completely drained. Turn the steering wheel so you can access the airbag bolts, located at the back. Unscrew them using a 5.5mm socket, carefully remove the airbag, and disconnect the wire. You'll then see the steering wheel bolt, which is 24mm. If the wheel is locked in place, removing the bolt should be easy. Once it's off, you're pretty much done!
