To uninstall the blower motor on the 2012 Ford Focus, start by freeing it from the driver's side, even though it is actually taken out from the passenger's side. Begin by taking out the lower kick panel located beneath the steering wheel. If necessary, eliminate an airbag that may be present. Next, detach the gas and brake pedals for better access to the blower motor housing. Inside, find the plastic retaining tab and press on it before turning the blower motor assembly to detach it from the housing. To complete the removal process, transition to the passenger's side. There, take out the glove box assembly and the lower kick panel to finally release the blower motor.
