Removing the spare tire from a 2007 Ford Escape is quite simple with the right knowledge. Begin by locating the tool kit, situated behind a panel in the back of the vehicle. After retrieving the tool kit, assemble the long handle tool. Insert this tool into a hole in the rear bumper and rotate it to lower the tire hanging on a chain at the back of the vehicle. Once the tire touches the ground, slide it out from the chain, allowing you to replace the worn tire on your vehicle with the spare.
Locate the jack at the rear of the car. Insert the jack handle into the slot on the bumper. Use the jack handle to lower the spare tire. Remove the spare tire from the cable.
