In the Chevy Cruze, there is no option to turn off the auto start-stop feature. Chevrolet has implemented this feature across all their vehicles to help reduce emissions and enhance fuel efficiency. One workaround is to pop the hood, start the car, and then close the hood; this tricks the car into thinking somebody is servicing the engine and prevents it from turning off. There are third-party devices available that can also disable the feature, but Chevrolet does not endorse any of them.
