To deactivate the keyless entry feature in your Audi, simply remove the physical key from the key fob and leave the fob inside the car. Use the key to manually lock the car, which will disable the keyless entry function. This means you will only be able to unlock the car using the physical key. Keyless entry to a vehicle is typically achieved by transmitting a radio frequency signal from a remote transmitter to a control module in the vehicle. This signal, known as RF, is sent as encrypted data directly to the car. Keyless entry systems allow you to unlock and lock your vehicle's doors without needing to use a key. Most modern American vehicles come with a basic keyless entry system that features a remote transmitter for short-range operation.
