Disabling MyKey on the 2010 Ford F-150 is easy for American drivers. To do this, go to the settings on the main console dashboard. Browse through the menu until you see MyKey. Choose this option and scroll down further to find the clear MyKey option. Select this, confirm your choice, and the MyKey function will be deactivated.

How do you disable MyKey without the original key? I purchased a pre-owned 2010 F-150 and did not receive any of the original keys, so I am unable to deactivate it. Does anyone know how to do so without the administrator key? Appreciate any assistance!

This situation is a real pain! It's ridiculous that she's being sued for this while I'm on the road and can't even maneuver on busy highways because of it. It's a major safety issue that could end up causing serious harm.

The only way to deactivate Mykey is by using a software called FORScan or by visiting a Ford dealership to have an admin key created. Ford dealerships can disable it, but they often don't do it without charging you a hefty fee, plus tax. It's frustrating dealing with their sneaky tactics. I'm fed up with Ford and am considering switching to a Tesla.
