The 2019 Toyota Tacoma is equipped with a seatbelt alarm that alerts individuals to fasten their seat belts. However, if the alarm becomes bothersome, there is a way to deactivate it. To do so, start by turning the vehicle to the on position without starting the engine. Then, press the odometer reset button until it displays ODO on the screen and turn off the vehicle. Restart the ignition, hold the odometer button for 10 seconds, buckle your seat belt, and release the button. This will disable the alarm. Nonetheless, it is still advisable to wear your seat belt as it can provide protection in case of an accident.
