There are three methods for accessing the trunk on the Honda CR-V. Initially, you can utilize the keys by inserting them into the lock at the rear of the trunk, which is the conventional approach. Another option available to you is to use the button inside the car’s cabin that features an open trunk symbol. Pressing this button will unlock the trunk. If this method fails, it indicates a faulty fuse that requires replacement. Additionally, you can activate the trunk release using the button on the key fob, allowing you to open the trunk remotely, even from inside a building. In the event of being trapped inside the trunk, there is an emergency release lever located near the front left of the interior, behind the carpet.

Inside the car, on the left side under the dashboard, there is a lever that releases the hood. Once you've done that, you can locate and release the secondary latch under the hood itself.
