If the battery in your Cadillac CTS dies and you find yourself helplessly pressing the unlock button on your key fob...no need to worry! You can manually open the door using the ignition key. If you think you don't have it, check below the "Trunk Open" button for a small button to press. After that, grab the end of the key fob and pull it out to reveal the key for the door. Insert it into the driver's side lock, and proceed as needed, like waiting in a cozy car for someone with jumper cables to arrive.

If you find yourself locked out of a Cadillac CTS because of a dead battery, you can use the main transmitter to unlock it. Just look below the "Pop trunk" button for a small release button. Press it to reveal the physical key. Insert the key in the driver's side door lock and turn it to the left to unlock the door.

In my 2012 car, you can easily fold down the back seat by pulling the string next to each of the back seats. Look for the handle beneath the center speaker. Pull it towards the front of the vehicle to unlock the seat.
