To access the trunk from inside a Honda Accord, you have a couple of options. You can either press the trunk release button located in the driver's door storage area, or use the corresponding button on the key fob. If these methods are ineffective, it is possible there is an electrical problem preventing the actuator from working. In such a case, you can manually release the trunk using the emergency trunk release. This can be found situated behind the rear driver's side seat on the trunk's lid. Take out the concealed key from the fob and use its tip to lift the square plastic cover and expose the emergency release. Insert the key, turn it clockwise, and the trunk should open right up.

I'm encountering the same problem as well. According to my manual, the keyfob only has the function to unlock or lock the trunk. I'm curious to find out if there's a way to open the trunk without needing the keyfob.

If you'd rather not utilize the main key or your key fob to unlock the trunk of your Honda Accord, you have the option to press the trunk release button situated on the driver's side door.
