To connect your device to the auxiliary input in the Toyota Corolla, all you need to do is plug in a 3.5mm cable to the aux port and then switch the radio to the aux setting. If this doesn't work, it could be due to a faulty fuse for the aux port, which might affect the entire radio system. To access the fuse box, check to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack on the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside, you'll find several fuses. The back of the panel you opened should have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If it's not there, you can also refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need and carefully remove it. Look for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections on the fuse - if it's broken, the fuse is no longer working and needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, you can put the fuse back in. New fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.

If your car model is from 2010 or later, all you need to do to use the aux input is connect a 3.5mm aux cable from the port to your device. Just plug one end into the port and the other end into your device.
