The main cause of water leaking into the cabin on the passenger side of a Honda HR-V is likely a blocked AC condensation line. This happens when the line that runs from the condenser over that area becomes clogged, leading to leaks. To address this issue, I suggest using compressed air to clear any obstructions in the condensation lines. The higher pressure of the compressed air can effectively remove water from the line. Alternatively, another reason for water presence in your car could be due to a faulty door or window seal. If the rubber gaskets are damaged or compromised, water may flow down the door track and into the vehicle.

It might be a blockage in the sunroof drain tube, which has been a problem with my 2016 HR-V. If this occurs, bring it to your dealer; my sunroof was replaced. If the problem persists three times within a year, consider invoking the lemon law.

If the liquid is clear and not coolant, it might be water condensation from the air conditioner located under the hood on the passenger side. This typically happens in hot weather and is completely normal.

This may occur due to a fracture or rupture in the line. You should inspect the door to determine if it is damaged.
