To activate the heated mirrors in a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, you can switch on the rear window defroster, which will also turn on the mirror heater. If this feature isn't working, it may be due to a faulty fuse near the steering wheel. To access the fuse box, look for a small seam or crack on the left side of the dashboard next to the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you'll see various fuses. On the back of the panel, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram isn't there, you can check the owner's manual for guidance. Identify the required fuse and remove it by pulling it out. Inspect the metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse – if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, you can reinsert the fuse. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.
