To illuminate the interior of the Honda Odyssey, you can activate the lights by pressing the map lamps located near the center of the dashboard above the overhead vent. Just push the left or right side of the square light to turn it on. If you want all the interior lights to come on at once, use the lever by the right map light. Move the lever down to activate them all simultaneously. When the lever is in the middle position, known as "door mode," the reading and door lights in the Odyssey will only turn on when the doors are opened, and will dim once the doors are shut. To deactivate the automatic operation of the interior lamps, push the same switch upwards. This will keep the lights off even if a door is opened.

If you leave the bed lights on and switch the ignition to accessory (I) or lock (0), the lights and indicator will stay on for about 20 minutes. To turn off the lights, you can click the light switch once more, or lock the tailgate and the in-bed trunk.
